Contrary to standard procedure, when three of six Baltimore city officers were booked into jail on murder charges for the death of Freddie Gray, they were not cuffed — and one of them was greeted with a bear hug.
“Caesar R. Goodson Jr., William G. Porter and Edward M. Nero, three of the six officers who surrendered May 1 to face charges in Gray's death, climbed out of a black police van without handcuffs.
