According to a news release, Adams broke into the Ruby Tuesday restaurant in Gloucester around 2 a.m., the television station reported. He was confronted by an employee, who said Adams was attempting to steal liquor bottles from the bar.
According to the release, Adams left the restaurant and entered a Murphy gasoline station, where he stole some cigars, WAVY reported.
Adams then walked into a Walmart before he was detained by police, the television station reported.
