New Franklin business offers auto care

A new Warren County business offers auto repair, service and maintenance.

Auto Doc, 1380 East 2nd St. in Franklin, opened earlier this month. It is owned by Freddy and Laura Manzano, who built their whole lives in the area, and many locals know them on a first-name basis, they said.

The couple said people prefer to do business with someone they know and trust.

“My husband was the manager of the El Vaquero Mexican Restaurant next door for 16 years, and he established a lot of deep relationships through that time there,” Laura Manzano said. “Everybody who goes there, they felt like they were going to his house, he was so hospitable. His customers were like family.”

The Manzanos said they want to bring that kind of relationship next door to Auto Doc, a 6,500-square-foot Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certified shop.

“In an industry where people tend not to trust, we want to stand out as providing honest, reliable auto care,” she said. “Our number one goal is customer satisfaction.”

Manzano said her husband handles day-to-day operations for Auto Doc, and she handles human resources, accounting and bookkeeping. The business employs five certified mechanics to provide quotes for customers’ needs and service all kinds of makes and models in six garage bays.

Hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday and 8 to 3 p.m. Saturday. For more information, call 937-806-3456 or click here.
