Another new restaurant poised to join the growing roster of new eateries at the Cornerstone of Centerville development is now hiring.
Zoup! restaurant, which operates a location on Ohio 725 in Washington Twp., is gearing up to open in the Shoppes at Cornerstone III, the four-tenant retail building along Wilmington Pike on the western edge of the Cornerstone development. The building also houses MOD Pizza, First Watch and Firehouse Subs.
The precise date of opening hasn’t been set, “but it should be sometime in January,” a spokeswoman for Zoup! told this news outlet via email Wednesday night. A sign on the restaurant’s door invites interested persons to apply at zoup.com/careers.

Zoup! offers 12 rotating daily varieties of soup, including low-fat, vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free options, and also serves made-to-order salads and sandwiches. Among the customer-favorite soups are Chicken Potpie, Lobster Bisque and Vegetarian Split Pea, and catering is available, a Zoup! spokeswoman said.
The 2,000-square-foot restaurant will seat 49 guests and employ about 20 people, Zoup officials said in a Dec. 1 release.
The first Zoup! restaurant opened in Southfield, Mich., in suburban Detroit in 1998. The chain operates more than 100 restaurants in 19 U.S. states and Canadian provinces.
