A Planters NUTmobile — affectionately known to its driver as a “24-foot-long peanut on wheels” —will make several Dayton-area public appearances this week.

The Nutmobile will appear at three local Kroger stores, and at the Clinton County Corn Fest, according to an email release from Maggie Byrne, a self-described Planters Peanutter who travels the country behind the wheel of the Planters NUTmobile.

“At our events, fans can see the NUTmobile, take a picture and meet their favorite Wing Nut Mr. Peanut, play a game and receive samples of delicious and irresistibly satisfying Planters nuts,” Byrne wrote.

She wrote that she and her crew “hope to ‘cashew’ around during out visit to Dayton.”

Thursday Sept 6: Marc's in Kettering; time to be determined. (NOTE: This appearance has been cancelled, and replaced by an appearance from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Kroger store on West Siebenthaler Avenue.)
