JUST IN: Change of plans for the NUTmobile’s schedule

The Planters NUTmobile had a change of plans today.

Initially, the schedule for the vehicle affectionately known to its driver as a “24-foot-long peanut on wheels” called for an appearance today, Thursday Sept. 6, at Marc’s, the grocery store that opened last month on Whipp Road in the southeast corner of Kettering.

That appearance has been cancelled and replaced with an appearance from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Kroger store at 3520 W. Siebenthaler Ave. in Dayton, Maggie Byrne, the self-described Planters Peanutter who travels the country behind the wheel of the Planters NUTmobile, told this news outlet via email this morning, Sept. 6.
