Build a wall -- a fake wall.
Members of the New York Police Department and the city's transit authority set up a fake wall made of plywood at a downtown Brooklyn subway station, WABC reported.
Authorities brainstormed the idea after commuters complained about #ilovetrump graffiti on the station walls, the television station reported.

On March 12, officials erected the fake wall, complete with a padlocked door for access, which looked similar to a construction area, WABC reported.
Officers waited behind the wall until the graffiti artist arrived. When he began to spray, police jumped out and arrested him, the television station reported.
"Sure enough, our man came back and put up again in #lovetrump on the beam, so they caught him live writing on the beam," NYPD Chief of Transit Edward Delatorre told WABC.
Jamie Montemarano, 43, of Brooklyn, was charged with criminal mischief and making graffiti, the television station reported.
