Police seeking vehicle involved in Harrison Twp. pedestrian strike

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a vehicle that struck a pedestrian, leaving them with serious injuries. The crash occurred in Harrison Twp. around 6:30 p.m. Monday night.

Initial investigation showed that a pedestrian was struck as he was attempting to cross North Main Street near Philadelphia Drive. The vehicle fled the scene driving south on North Main Street. The pedestrian was transported to Grandview Hospital with serious injuries, a release from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said.

Witnesses described the vehicle as a gray sedan, possibly a Buick, with front end damage due to the crash. Anyone who witnessed the accident or has information regarding the vehicle is asked to call the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office at 937-225-4357.

The crash is under investigation by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Services Unit.
