In the areas around Interstate 75, we can expect under an inch of snow, save for some regional variation. Snowfalls will be heavier the further east you travel outside of the area, for 1-2 inches in Columbus and even more snow further to the east.
As temperatures fall through the afternoon and evening, the NWS said slick spots may develop on elevated and untreated surfaces.
There is a chance of flurries overnight with some breezy winds. Some gusts may be as high as 20 mph. Meanwhile temperatures will continue to fall to a low of around 15 degrees.
For Christmas, the NWS said there would be a chance of flurries before 4 p.m. Temperatures will rise, but only slightly for a cold high of 22 degrees. We will continue to see some breezy winds.
Overnight, the clouds will gradually clear as temperatures fall to around 16 degrees.
By morning on Saturday, skies will be mostly sunny as temperatures rise once again to around 36 degrees. Saturday night we will see more clouds, but we will remain dry as temperatures fall to around 24 degrees.
