Public Health - Dayton & Montgomery County hosted a live demonstration of its mosquito surveillance program on Tuesday at the Wegerzyn MetroPark. Tom Hut, left, bureau supervisor of special services, and summer interns Caitlin Molina and Paul LaGasse talked about the types of mosquitoes that are trapped and demonstrated the devices and bait scents used to catch them. Hut also demonstrated a sprayer used in selected areas to reduce the mosquito population. TY GREENLEES / STAFF
