2 in stable condition following ATV rollover crash

UPDATE @ 6:19 a.m. (Oct. 16)

Two women are in stable condition at Miami Valley Hospital following a Saturday night ATV crash in Darke County, according to a Darke County Sheriff’s Office release.

CareFlight responded to the 8000 block of Arcanum Bears Mill Road around 7:45 p.m. on a report of an ATV roll over accident, according to the release.

Deputies said a preliminary investigation shows that while driving the ATV, Amanda Hans, 36, of Greenville lost control of the vehicle.

The release states she and her passenger, Leah Patterson, 28, of Greenville, were both ejected from the ATV in the crash.

INITIAL REPORT (Oct. 15)

An ATV rollover crash was reported tonight in Darke County.

A CareFlight medical helicopter was called to the crash, reported just after 7:45 p.m. in the 8000 block of Arcanum Bear’s Mill Road.

Two people were flown to an area hospital. No information was available on the victims’ injuries, according to the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
