Ohio-based medical marijuana cultivator Standard Wellness has issued a voluntary recall for two of its Standard Drops products, according to a patient communication from the Ohio Medical Marijuana Control Program.
Standard Wellness initiated the recall due to patient reports about the product, although the release did not describe what the reports said.
The recall affects Standard Drops purchased before July 3, 2019, and includes the following product IDs:
- M00000021820: Tin Oral Admin-4-0-27.5
- M00000028304: Tin Oral Admin-4.64-0-23.7
The manufacturer is offering a full refund for any Standard Drops produced before July 3.
This recall is not a mandatory product recall as there have been no reports of adverse effects to the MMCP.
If patients have any concerns, they can return any unused product to the dispensary where purchased. The returned product will not count toward a patient’s 90-day possession limit.
