2 tornado touchdowns east of Cincinnati confirmed

The National Weather Service has confirmed two tornadoes touched down east of Cincinnati in Saturday night’s storms.

An EF-1 tornado touched down southwest of Felicity in Clermont County around 12:03 a.m. Sunday.

A second tornado touched down further east of Cincinnati, in Brown County. Additional details about this tornado will be released Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

FIRST REPORT

A tornado touched down during weekend storms southwest of Felicity in Clermont County, southeast of Cincinnati.

The National Weather Service late this afternoon confirmed the tornado that touched down during last night’s storms. Meteorologists are continuing to survey storm damage in eastern Clermont County and in Brown County, especially near Hamersville, the NWS said.

The EF scale rating has yet to be determined.

The NWS said it will release further information about its assessment this evening.
