The city has demolished part of the structures with an eye on redeveloping the site with “high-quality retail and residential space,” Miamisburg Development Director Chris Fine has said.
A memorandum of understanding involving the developers and the city was approved by Miamisburg council Tuesday night.
The agreement would commit the city to fund $75,000 for initial costs for plans and specifications, city records show. The document would also “acknowledge the need” for the city to provide $225,000 more in public funds, but would not commit Miamisburg to spend that money.
