John Mellencamp wrote about “little pink houses for you and me” in his 1983 hit song, but a Texas resident took that idea a step further.
Emilio Rodriguez painted his Pflugerville home completely pink -- including the roof -- after buying it in November, KEYE reported.

"No HOA. I pre-planned this specifically because of that reason, so when people get mad I explain there is no HOA here," Rodriguez told the television station. "I did the back first, the whole back of the house, then I did the whole house.”
Rodriguez calls it his dream home claims the residence, located north of Austin, is part of the "Keep Austin Weird" vibe, KEYE reported.
"I love this house. I don't know why people don't like it," Rodriguez told the television station. "That's what people keep saying, they're like, ‘Why are people so freaked out? Have they never been to Austin?’"
The only remedy for neighbors who are not enamored with Rodriguez's little pink house is by filing a lawsuit, KEYE reported.
