Efforts to remove gravel for construction on I-75 caused other problems on the Great Miami River this summer.
Incorrectly marked city sewer lines were ruptured by construction crews Sept. 1, causing raw sewage to leak into the Great Miami River. Repairs were estimated to cost taxpayers at least $20,000, but the spill did minimal damage.
A telephone call to Ruhlin Co. Monday afternoon was not returned.
