Miamisburg bridge replacement will impact traffic, RTA routes

A bridge-replacement project on South Gebhart Church Road between Ohio 725 and Maue Road will detour traffic and Greater Dayton RTA bus routes, according to the transit authority.

The construction will impact bus Route 60 between Feb. 6 and April 19, RTA said.

Route 60 westbound will detour on Leiter and circle at Sycamore Hospital to return to Alexandersville and Maue roads and reverse eastbound, according to RTA. Route 60 westbound will continue straight on Central Avenue and then left on North Main Street to continue on regular routing.

Temporary stops will be added on Central Avenue near Main Street and near the entrance to Sycamore Primary Care Center, according to RTA. The following stops will be closed in both directions until approximately April 19, 2017:

  • Stops 6872 and 6882 — Gebhart Church Road at Maue Road
  • Stops 6051 an 5743 — Sycamore Primary Care Center at Gebhart Church Road
  • Stop 3171 — 1st Street at Central Avenue
  • Stop 3172 — 1st Street at Pearl Street
  • Stop 3230 — Main Street at Ferry Street
