The victim walked into the road and was struck by a Mazda, police said. The driver was not at fault and will not be cited.
The victim’s injuries are considered severe.
The crash remains under investigation.

Police and medics in Trotwood have responded to a reported pedestrian strike in the 3500 block of Shiloh Springs Road.
Crews were dispatched to the call around 6:30 a.m. Monday, but the status of the injured person is unknown.
Reports indicate the road is shut down in both directions.
