Officials puzzled about cause of crash on Mudlick Road

Woman injured in single-vehicle crash in Germantown

Germantown police said a woman suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries in a single-vehicle crash Monday morning.

Crews responded to the 10000 block of Mudlick Road in Germantown just before 1:30 a.m. on a report of a car slamming into a tree.

Police said the woman suffered two broken legs and a broken pelvis, but her injuries are non-life threatening. CareFlight was dispatched to the area to transport her to Miami Valley Hospital.

Police believe a combination of darkness and the driver’s unfamiliarity with the area were factors in the crash.

Alcohol and drugs are not suspected in the crash.
