Two Hamilton juveniles have been charged after police said they went on a shooting spree Wednesday with BB guns that started with the theft of the weapons and two bicycles.
The 13-year-old boys skipped school, stole two bicycles and then peddled to the Walmart on Princeton Road in Fairfield Twp., where two BB guns were stolen, according to Fairfield Twp. Police Sgt. Jamison Mays.
The BB guns were used to shoot areas of the Normandy Heights neighborhood in Fairfield Twp., including shattering a church window and shooting at vehicles, according to police.
“They said they shot at the police station, but we haven’t found any damage,” Mayes said.
One boy is charged with two counts of theft and three counts of criminal damaging. The other is charged with three counts of criminal damaging. Mayes said the second boy was present when the thefts occurred, but didn’t actually participate.
The boys are also facing charges for allegedly shooting at people yesterday in Hamilton with the BB guns, Mayes said.
