Dayton National Cemetery opened in 1867 and contains more than 51,000 graves.

Visiting hallowed ground today to pay respect to our inviolable dead. I was all pissed off this morning about a late usps package and some normal everyday bs. Decided to head to woods for a hike with my boy to blow off some steam. Passing the local VA cemetery on our way stopped me in my tracks, more like high speed U-turn... We ended up spending time humbling ourselves before such great men and women. Merry Christmas to all the #GoldStarFamily out there.

It's so difficult to accept you've been gone for 2 years now. I'll always love you josh, sometimes I feel you hugging me from behind, sometimes I see you in my dreams, sometimes I hear your voice in my head, sometimes I can even smell you. You experienced more out of life in 28 years than most would out of 100.
