Construction workers have been building the foundation for the Pavilion and related structures over the past month.

“We are very excited that the construction timing is running on schedule. Workers are finishing the foundation work and we should see some steel work in the next couple of weeks,” said Lisa Wagner, Executive Director, Levitt Pavilion Dayton. “The steel going vertical will give the pavilion a more dominant presence.”

As things begin to take shape physically, Wagner also mentioned the schedule for the new music venue.

“Right now, we are about 75% programmed for August through October with 30 concerts,” she said. “Everything is on target for an early August opening, but there are some construction milestones that we have to meet before we can give a firm opening date. We want to do a season reveal with all of our partners, supporters and sponsors in early May.”
