More showers and storms likely to start the work-week

Scattered showers and storms return this afternoon with more throughout the week. There will be dry time towards the end of the week, said Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Brett Collar.

Tonight: A break in the rain is expected to start this evening, but a few more showers and storms will be possible as we head closer to sunset. The strongest storms this evening will stay southwest of the Miami Valley. Temperatures will drop into the mid-60s overnight.

Monday: The chance for showers and storms continues to start the work-week. Highs will be in the lower 80s.

Tuesday: More showers and storms are likely with highs in the middle 80s.

Wednesday: We dry out under partly cloudy skies. Highs will be in the mid-80s.

Thursday: A mainly dry day is expected, though there is a slight chance for rain late. Highs will again be in the middle 80s.

Friday: More sunshine is expected. Highs will be in the mid-80s.
