A tractor-trailer carrying an unusual load veered off Interstate 95 in Florida Wednesday, damaging an aquarium it was carrying and killing at least one shark.
The semi went off the road in Volusia County near mile marker 238.
Officials said the vehicle stayed upright, but one of the aquarium tanks in the back was damaged, and the shark inside it died.
The big rig was headed to an aquarium in New York and was carrying five live sharks, all 5 feet in length or larger, officials said.
The other four sharks were not injured.
The driver of the big rig also was not injured.
