The man and woman became acquainted on the Internet and decided to meet.
When they did, Mina Houari passed out from complications of diabetes.
The still unnamed man told police in Morocco he "watched her fall unconscious” and thought Houari had died.
He panicked, and buried her in his backyard garden. Mina’s family helped Moroccan authorities find the man when they didn’t hear from her.

That led to them finding her body, along with muddy pants and a shovel.
Police say it appears she was buried alive and suffocated.
The Daily Mail reports the "boyfriend" has since confessed and will stand trial.
