The goal of the event is teach companies how to land a government contract.

Stevens told News Center 7 that he wants base business opportunities to be just as attractive to big companies as they do to small ones. He also people at Wright-Patt have worked hard to get rid of that reputation that jobs come with red tape.

“Once you understand the Web page, then you can begin to apply and bid for contracts all over the world,” Stevens said.

Doug Bolinger of Kee Electric in Brookville said Wright-Patterson where you want to work.

“We do design, building new construction and remodeling, They basically have the bulk of the work right now. So we want to be out there with them,” Bolinger said.
