You won’t believe the changes at Woodbourne Library

The renovation and reconstruction of Woodbourne Library is shaping up nicely along Far Hills Avenue in Centerville. Construction began in April of 2016 after the Washington-Centerville Public Library purchased and cleared adjacent land that had a bank and a McDonald's.

Contractors are renovating the existing buildings and have added an additional 10,000 square feet surrounded by glass walls that will include the main entrance, multimedia, meeting rooms, creative space, teen and children areas, seating, circulation desks and self-checkout kiosks.

The Woodbourne Library is expected to open in late summer or early fall, according to the Washington-Centerville Public Library website
