In celebration of National Hot Dog Day, Philly Pretzel Factory in Centerville is offering FREE pretzel dogs to the first 100 customers starting at 11 a.m. today, July 17, the restaurant announced on its Facebook page.

After the late-morning giveaway is over, pretzel dogs will be available for the discounted price of $1 for the rest of the day Wednesday, the restaurant’s operators said.

In addition to its original pretzel dog, the company turned up the heat this summer with a new, limited-time-only “Big Cheesy Jalapeño Pretzel Dog,” which will also be included in the $1 promotion, according to a Philly Pretzel Factory release.

"We love incorporating our famous Philly-style soft pretzels into new products for our customers, and our pretzel dog has become a fan favorite," Dan DiZio, CEO and co-founder of Philly Pretzel Factory, said in the national release. "We're proud to debut the Big Cheesy Jalapeño Pretzel Dog this summer through July and August and celebrate National Hot Dog Day with our $1 deal once again."
