Bengals place defensive back on IR, sign pair of players off practice squad

The Cincinnati Bengals on Friday placed cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick on injured reserve and signed wide receiver Damion Willis and linebacker Hardy Nickerson off the practice squad.

Kirkpatrick suffered a knee injury Oct. 13 at Baltimore and has missed the last three games. He had 33 tackles in the first six games. Kirkpatrick, a first-round pick of the Bengals in 2012, has 10 career interceptions.

Willis played in the Bengals’ first seven games (two starts) this season, and had nine catches for 82 yards.

Nickerson played in 30 games (nine starts) with the Bengals from 2017-18.

The Bengals play at Oakland on Sunday.
