Southwest Ohio fans won’t have to travel as far to see the Cleveland Cavaliers in person… next fall.
FOX19 in Cincinnati reports the current NBA champions intend to play another preseason game at Xavier’s Cintas Center, but it won’t be until 2017.
That will be part of a rotating schedule that also includes Columbus. The Cavs will play in Columbus this fall, according to Xavier athletics director Greg Christopher.
The Cavs have played one exhibition game apiece in Columbus and Cincinnati the past two years.
