Andrew Whitworth’s value to the Cincinnati Bengals went well beyond the playing field, with the team captain being one of the most respected players in the locker room for much of his 11-year tenure with the team.
So it’s no surprise that his decision to leave the Bengals and sign a three-year contract with the Los Angeles Rams elicited responses from his teammates on Twitter, including one from the man who is stepping into Whitworth’s role as starting left tackle, Cedric Ogbuehi.
Defensive end Carlos Dunlap, who went to the Pro Bowl with Whitworth the last two years, also weighed in:
