About Wright State: The Raiders have lost three straight games to start the season for the first time since losing six in a row in 2008-09. That team, under coach Brad Brownell, caught fire and finished 20-13 overall, 12-6 in the Horizon League and reached the conference tournament semifinals. … Wright State is coming off an 80-61 loss to Murray State in their home opener Saturday. The Racers turned a tight game into a comfortable win by finishing on a 15-2 run. The other two losses were 84-80 at Loyola (Ill.) and 73-67 in overtime at Miami. … Mitchell, the team's best all-around player last season, is back after serving a one-game suspension. He's the starting point guard, and the Raiders have been struggling with consistency in the backcourt. They're averaging 17.7 turnovers per game, and they had just seven assists against Murray State. … Love leads the team in rebounds with 7.3 per game. … Everett Winchester, a 6-6 redshirt freshman, is third in scoring with an 11.3 average.

About Tiffin: The Division-III Dragons haven't had a winning season since going 15-14 in 2011-12. They return three starters from a team that finished 11-17 overall and 6-14 in the GLIAC last season. … Adams averaged 15.3 points and 8.1 rebounds while making second-team all-conference last season. Brown averaged 9.7 points. Terrell Mabins, a 6-0 junior, was a first-stringer last season but is coming off the bench this year. … Adams leads the team in rebounding with a 9.0 average. Schaub is first in assists at 4.0. … The Dragons opened the season with a win over Ohio Dominican but dropped their last two games against Lake Erie and Salem International on the road. … They have three games in three days. After playing Wright State, they compete in the University Classic at Ashland against Kentucky State on Tuesday and Indianapolis on Wednesday. … Jarrell Taylor, a 6-6 sophomore from Northmont High School, is a reserve for Tiffin and has appeared in one game. His brother, Cameron, plays football for UAB.
