Dayton to host Chattanooga in men’s basketball in December

The Dayton men’s basketball team will host the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga on Dec. 12 at UD Arena, UD confirmed Thursday.

It’s the fourth non-conference game scheduled for the Flyers in the 2015-16 season. Dayton will play home games against Arkansas and Miami University and has scheduled a road game at Vanderbilt.

The Mocs finished 22-10 last season with an RPI of 110. Two seasons ago, they were 18-15 with an RPI of 249.

Chattanooga lost its coach, Will Wade, after last season to Virginia Commonwealth and hired Matt McCall, a former assistant to Billy Donovan at Florida, on April 13. Wade coached Chattanooga for two seasons.
