2014 record: 8-5, 3-5. Last season, Rutgers ran the gauntlet losing to Ohio State, Michigan State, Wisconsin and Penn State in what was ultimately a solid Big Ten debut for the Scarlet Knights. Rutgers finished the season with a big win over North Carolina in the Quick Lane Bowl. Once again, Rutgers plays a tough schedule and could struggle under a young quarterback that is yet to be determined after Gary Nova's graduation.

2014 record: 14-1, 8-0. Ohio State was not only picked by all 40 voters to win the Big Ten East, it is also expected to win the Big Ten Title Game. No pressure to repeat, eh? No one knows who will be Ohio State's quarterback this season, and that is okay. Both Cardale Jones and JT Barrett will instantly rise to the top of the Heisman Trophy watch list whenever Urban Meyer names a starter. Plus, Ezekiel Elliott in the backfield gives the Buckeyes options. Meyer's toughest challenge will be motivating a team that is expected to dominate an improving Big Ten Conference.
