Chambers added one reception for 21 yards in the win. Freshman wide receiver Jordan Harris (Lakota West) caught a 31-yard TD pass, while sophomore wide receiver Zayne Hart (Carlisle) had two receptions for 8 yards.

• Junior safety Mitch Larsen (Fairfield) totaled three solo tackles, one assist and one fumble recovery last Thursday as Ball State opened its season with a 42-6 triumph over visiting Central Connecticut State.

Men's soccer: Indiana East sophomore wing Daniel Sims (Fairfield) notched his first career goal last Saturday in a 13-0 victory over visiting Lincoln Christian (Ill.).
The Red Wolves are off to a 2-1 start, and Sims leads the team with three assists. Freshman forward Brandon Bates (Reading) of Fairfield has scored a pair of goals.
IU East will visit St. Francis (Ind.) on Thursday at 7 p.m.
Women's soccer: Sophomore midfielder/forward Kailey Ivins (Monroe) tallied her first goal of the season last Friday, scoring in the 89th minute to give Northern Kentucky a 3-2 road win over Ohio.
The Norse improved to 3-2, while the Bobcats fell to 2-3-1, despite getting a goal from senior midfielder Madelyn Kah (Badin). Kah has two goals this year.
NKU returns to action at home against Lipscomb (Tenn.) on Thursday at 7 p.m. Ohio visits Cleveland State on Friday at 7 p.m.
• Sophomore forward Alexis Kingsley (Franklin) has one goal and one assist for Cumberlands, which is 4-0 and has outscored its opponents 21-1. The Patriots will travel to Bryan (Tenn.) on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
