2018 NCAA Hockey Tournament: Preview

After St. Cloud State, Notre Dame and Ohio State were announced as No. 1 seeds, with the Huskies becoming the top overall seed in the 16-team tournament.

Minnesota missed the tournament, according to USCHO.com, by .0001 in the Ratings Percentage Index.

Minnesota Duluth narrowly knocked the Gophers out of contention, with Air Force, Notre Dame, Princeton, Boston University, Denver and Michigan Tech all winning their conference tournaments to earn an automatic bid.
