Dealing with adversity
Alabama linebacker and outfielder Keith Holcombe properly balances playing for Saban and baseball coach Brad Bohannon. Holcombe made 38 tackles and 2 tackles for loss last season as a rotation linebacker for the football team and he is second on the baseball team this season in batting average and hits. Holcombe also balances sports with having type 1 diabetes. Holcombe is still able to be a two-sport athlete despite diabetes affecting his daily life.
