TCU men’s basketball posted its first win at Iowa State in 35 years on Wednesday with an 89-83 win over the Cyclones at Hilton Coliseum in Ames, Iowa. The Horned Frogs are now likely just a win or two away from their first invitation to the NCAA Tournament in 20 years.
As TCU heads back home for a showdown with Big 12-rival Baylor on Saturday, junior guard Alex Robinson is counting on Horned Frogs fans to make their presence felt as the team seeks to post the regular-season sweep over the Bears.
Robinson encouraged TCU fans to create a “rocking” atmosphere at the Schollmaier Arena in Fort Worth when the contest tips off at 11 a.m. CT.

The Horned Frogs take the court in Fort Worth for the final time this regular season next Tuesday vs. Kansas State before closing out the year at Texas Tech on March 3. The Big 12 Championship Tournament will take place in Kansas City, Mo. the following week.
