With all five starters either graduating or turning pro and zero recruits currently signed or committed for next season, Arizona is exploring all avenues to fill out its 2018-19 roster. That apparently includes kicking the tires on a high-scoring guard from the extreme opposite end of the country.
Maine transfer Aaron Calixte has heard from Oklahoma, Arizona, Missouri, St. Bonaventure, Ole Miss, DePaul, Temple, Grand Canyon & La Salle. Averaged 16.9 PPG last season.

Aaron Calixte is a 6-foot-3 point guard who led Maine in scoring and assists (3.2) last season for a Black Bears team that went 6-26 overall and was second-to-last in the America East Conference. He shot 47.6 percent from the field, 38.6 percent from three-point range and 89.2 percent from the foul line.
Calixte is a graduate transfer and would be eligible immediately. Arizona has previously had success with a grad transfer point guard, as Mark Lyons led the Wildcats in scoring in 2012-13 after coming over from Xavier.
