Who wore it best?

Auburn had so many players step up and contribute in the team’s blowout of Mississippi State over the weekend that the SEC couldn’t pick just one player to honor.

Instead, redshirt freshman Nick Coe and quarterback Jarrett Stidham both claimed SEC Player of the Week honors on Monday.

Stidham shared the SEC Offensive Player of the Week award with Georgia’s Nick Chubb. The native Texan was 13 of 16 (264 yards) and delivered 2 touchdowns. He didn’t toss a single interception. What was perhaps the prettiest part of Stidham’s performance was his 4 passes of 45 yards or more. That was something Auburn fans have been eager to see for a while.

Coe was named the conference’s Co-Freshman Player of the Week. Coe finished the night with a career-high 6 tackles (a half tackle for a loss) and hurried Mississippi State quarterback Nick Fitzgerald the most among Auburn’s defensive linemen (4 times).

Auburn’s defense continued to excel, registering 5 tackles for loss, 2 sacks and 11 quarterback hurries.

The award begs the question: Who wore it best?
