Auburn quarterback Jarrett Stidham and Georgia running back Nick Chubb each had big performances in leading their teams to wins on Saturday. On Monday, the duo earned co-SEC Offensive Player of the Week honors for those showings.
Stidham went 13-for-16 for 264 yards and two touchdowns in the Tigers’ 49-10 win over Mississippi State.
Chubb rushed for 109 yards on 16 carries in the Bulldogs’ 41-0 win over Tennessee. It was his 20th career 100-yard rushing game.
Alabama defensive back Levi Wallace earned SEC Defensive Player of the Week honors for his two-interception game in the Crimson Tide’s 66-3 win over Ole Miss. Wallace also scored his first career defensive touchdown, a 35-yard pick-six in the first quarter.
