Missouri solidified its class of 2018 linebackers by getting three commitments at the position during a six-day span in late July. One of those linebackers has changed his mind.

On Friday night, 3-star LB La’Dedric Jackson announced on Twitter that he’d be decommitting from the school.

The 6-foot-2, 210-pound Jackson, from Montgomery, Ala., was one of three players in the class from Alabama along with dual-threat QB James Foster and ATH Cam Taylor, both also from Montgomery.

Jackson had made his pledge to the Tigers back on July 26, following the commitments of 4-star LB Chad Bailey (July 23) and 3-star LB Cameron Wilkins (July 21). Bailey is currently the only prospect in Missouri’s class rated 4-star or better, according to the 247Sports composite ranking.

Four other SEC schools have offered Jackson, including LSU, Tennessee, Ole Miss and Kentucky, along with some other notable programs such as Louisville and Purdue.

Missouri now has 13 commitments in its Class of 2018.
