Third-ranked Baylor women’s basketball took a statement 44-24 lead over No. 24 TCU at halftime on Saturday.
Not everyone at Ferrell Center in Waco, however, quite got the memo of who the Bears were playing.
According to TCU 360’s Robbie Vaglio, the public address announcer in the arena mistakenly called TCU “Texas A&M” on multiple occasions during the top 25 showdown.
Not sure what’s up with Baylor’s PA announcer tonight. He’s butchered the names of many Horned Frogs and has called TCU Texas A&M multiple times.

Texas A&M has not been in the Big 12 Conference since the school left for the SEC in time for the 2012-2013 school year. TCU joined the conference as the Aggies made their way out — joining from the Mountain West Conference.
Of course, mistakes happen. But with the college spirit that is present in the Lone Star State, messing up the names of Texas schools is a big no-no.
