Brady Hoke attended Ohio State’s pro day and chatted with Urban Meyer on Thursday. You couldn’t have predicted this scene five years ago.
Hoke, the former Michigan head coach, is now the defensive line coach with the Carolina Panthers and was in Columbus to do some scouting of the Buckeyes’ future pros. Hoke caught up with Meyer before the work outs started.

Hoke coached Michigan from 2011-2014, going 31-20 in his four seasons. Hoke, much to Oho State fans’ delight, is still the last Michigan head coach to beat the Buckeyes. Hoke and Michigan picked up a win in The Game in 2011 before Urban Meyer donned scarlet and gray.
Since leaving Ann Arbor, Hoke has had stops at Oregon and Tennessee. Hoke was Oregon’s defensive coordinator in 2016 and then was Tennessee’s defensive line coach in 2017 before taking over as the Volunteers’ interim head coach for the final two games of the season.
