Bruce Weber says Dean Wade out for second half against Kentucky

The Kansas State Wildcats are holding on to a slim lead against the Kentucky Wildcats in the Sweet 16, but they won’t have Dean Wade in the second half.

Wade, a star forward for Kansas State, missed the first two games of the NCAA Tournament with a foot injury. He wasn’t in the starting lineup against Kentucky, but played a couple of minutes and scored four points in the first half.

Now, it appears he won’t be on the court for Kansas State in the second half. Bruce Weber said at halftime that Wade most likely will not play the final 20 minutes.

Kansas State leads Kentucky 33-29 at the half after starting the game on a 13-1 run. The game can be seen on CBS.
