“Purdue feels like home,” Triplett said in the tweet. “Academically it’s one of the best schools in the country. The football team is on the rise and I want to be a part of that. The coaching staff is great and I feel like I can be successful there.”
The Michigan City, Ind. native is ranked No. 34 in the state by 247Sports and No. 103 overall in terms of linebackers in the country.
Indiana was also interested in the 6-foot-5, 215-pound talent and he had unofficially visited Notre Dame, but has no other offers at this point.
