Clemson football: Deshaun Watson scores 3 first-half touchdowns versus Titans

The first NFL home start for Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson is going quite well.

In the first half against the Tennessee Titans, Watson went 14 of 20 with 196 passing yards, 2 touchdowns and an interception. He also rushed for 20 yards and scored on the ground.

Watson is well on his way to winning his second NFL game and improving to 2-1 with the lone loss on the road against the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots. Houston is leading Tennessee in the, 30-14, halfway through the third quarter.

There’s obviously still a long way to go in the 2017 season and in Watson’s career, but it’s hard to believe the former Clemson quarterback dropped to Houston at No. 12. It’s also incredible to think about that just three weeks ago, Watson was behind Tom Savage on the Texans depth chart.
