No other athletics program has been able to accomplish what the Clemson Tigers have in the last year.

Clemson is the only program in that time span to make the NCAA baseball tournament, the College Football Playoff and the NCAA men’s tournament Sweet 16, as pointed out by ESPN’s Chris Low.

The Tigers were eliminated in their NCAA regional baseball bracket last season, falling to Vanderbilt.

In football, No. 1 Clemson (12-2) won the ACC Championship and qualified for the College Football Playoff, falling to the eventual champion Alabama in the Sugar Bowl.

In men’s basketball, No. 5-seeded Clemson has made a run to the Sweet 16. The Tigers easily knocked off New Mexico State (79-68) and Auburn (84-53) in the first two rounds of the tournament. They’ll meet Kansas on Friday, March 23 at 7:07 p.m. ET on CBS.

The Tigers haven’t played in the Sweet 16 since 1997 and haven’t appeared in the Elite Eight since 1980.
