Colin Cowherd thinks Duke is going to ‘hammer’ Syracuse in Sweet 16 matchup

The Duke Blue Devils have been the darlings of the NCAA Tournament, named almost universally the top program remaining.

Ahead of a tilt with Syracuse Friday night, FOX Sports’ Colin Cowherd believes the Blue Devils are going to crush the Orange:

The Blue Devils (-750) are 11-point favorites against Syracuse ( mybookie.ag), with ESPN’s matchup predictor giving Duke an 89.4 percent chance to move on to the Elite Eight.

While Duke’s prospects for winning the National Championship looks great this year, Cowherd is right — the Blue Devils are absolutely loaded next year.

As it stands, the No. 1 (small forward R.J. Barrett), No. 2 (small forward Cameron Reddish), No. 3 (power forward Zion Williamson) and No. 9 (point guard Tre Jones) are all committed to Duke, per 247Sports.

The foreseeable future is scary if you’re not a Duke Blue Devil.

Duke plays Syracuse Friday night at 9:37 p.m. ET on CBS.
