Kenny Hill’s rebirth as a consistent quarterback has been one of the biggest reasons for TCU’s so-far undefeated season.
The senior quarterback has been less than efficient in the past, tossing mind-boggling interceptions and generally not making good decisions.
According to Dana Holgorsen, the Frogs’ next opponent, he’s come a long way.
“He’s taking care of the ball better — that was a knock on him in the past…He’s got a lot of good people around him, but he’s managing it extremely well,” Holgosen said in Monday’s Big 12 coach’s teleconference.
He’s not wrong, Kenny Hill has been a model of efficiency for the Horned Frogs so far. He does have a lot of weapons, but he’s kept the mistakes to a minimum, and he hasn’t taken any unnecessary risks.
If he can continue down this path, there’s no reason why TCU shouldn’t challenge for the conference championship or even a playoff spot. The sky is the limit for the Horned Frogs, as long as their new found consistency stays in balance.
